I heard that this might be removed or significantly reduced.
The idea is an EXCELLENT concept, I can see this and quite frankly I'm convinced it's its faster, easier, and more efficient, and time saving than going through a million folder's - the search feature takes up unnecessary clicks and types, especially for Admin!
DO NOT REMOVE IT! DO NOT REDUCE IT!
IF YOU MUST, MAKE IT LESS PROMINENT, BUT REMOVE/REDUCE NOTHING!
*** LET THE DATA COME TO YOU - NOT YOU SEARCHING FOR IT!!!! ***
IMAGINE IF YOU COOULD IMPLEMENT THIS IN MSN SEARCH, HUH! HOW FAR BEHIND WOULD GOOGLE BE!
I know people complain that it is confusing; the same people complained when they were learning how to use a PC first time!
Consider making it prominent in the Ultimate/Enterprise/Business version and not the Home Versions.
I know politics is a large factor in any decision, but if you must do anything, make it stand out less - a different "view/option" in Windows Explorer perhaps, but PLEASE don't remove/reduce it.
I HIGHLY prefer going home early to my "nagging" wife, than trying to get the network at work running again!
